  Germaine Bolds-Leftridge, the president of GBL Sales, Incorporated has been in the Health and Beauty Aids industry since 1984. Germaine began her career as a merchandiser for Soft Sheen Products, in the Baltimore-Washington metropolitan area. When she was presented with an opportunity to become a broker in 1990, she enthusiastically accepted the challenge.   

GBL Sales, Inc. opened its’ doors for business on March 1,1990 and is headquartered in Columbia, Maryland. Germaine founded GBL Sales, Inc. as a means of serving the diverse needs of her clients.  The corporation specializes in the sales and marketing of health and beauty aids in the northeastern and southeastern markets in the United States. Clients include Luster Products, Bronner Brothers, Organic Root Stimulator, Elasta QP, Anika Laboratories, Biocare Labs, Posner Cosmetics, and Spartan Brands.
     


Aaron Greenfield

  As Executive Director of the Maryland Business Council, Mr. Greenfield oversees the start up and implementation of the statewide business advocacy group focused on assisting business entities in a wide range of areas. In an effort to improve the business climate, Mr. Greenfield advocates before state and local governments in connection with health care, workforce, and tax and regulatory issues.

In addition to legislative work, Mr. Greenfield and the MBC works to provide cost savings to members and important informational programs. Mr. Greenfield serves as President of the Baltimore Civil Service Commission and as a Board Member of the Baltimore Area Convention and Visitor's Association.
       


Herbert Jordan III

  Herbert Jordan III serves as the Deputy Director of the Maryland Governor’s Office of Minority Affairs. Herb has over 20+ years of experience in management and information technology having previously worked for GE, Bank of America, Aon Consulting, MYCOM.com and Travelers Insurance.    

Throughout his prior management and information technology (IT) career, he has leveraged emerging technologies to provide solutions to tough problems for clients ranging from individual contributors to CEOs. Beyond technology, Herb has solid track record as a startup-specialist with skills in planning, business development, and management. Mr. Jordan has a B.S. degree in Information Systems Management from the University of Maryland.
       


Bob Wallace
Guest Judge
  Robert L. Wallace is an accomplished entrepreneur, author, business consultant and internationally known speaker.  He is the founder of three companies.   BiTHGroup Technologies, Inc., a successful information technology services company, Learning Systems, LLC, which provides e-learning training services for entrepreneurs, intrapreneurs, small businesses, and micro enterprises and Techcom, LLC,  a technology commercialization company. Prior to starting his own companies, Wallace worked for such corporations as IBM, DuPont, Procter & Gamble, and ECS Technologies. He served on the transition team for Governor Robert L. Ehrlich, Jr. and was later appointed as Chairman of the State of Maryland Information Technology Board (ITB).  Governor Ehrlich later appointed Robert as a Commissioner on the State’s Advanced Technology Commission (Pappas Commission) and the Minority Business Reform Commission. 

Robert earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mechanics from the University of Pennsylvania, his Masters of Business Administration from the Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College, and was awarded a Doctorate of Humane Letters from Sojourner Douglas CollegeHe has authored numerous articles and books on entrepreneurship, wealth creation strategies, intrapreneurship, and urban economic development.
