History- Prior to founding 1 st Choice, Michelle Bell held many leadership positions in the Human Resources area of several Fortune 500 companies. Her corporate responsibilities included developing training for management and employees, recruiting and staffing, and conducting workforce needs assessments and development. She is a master diversity trainer; with particular expertise in enhancing leadership skills and creating a positive work environment through inclusion.
She also designs and executes programs to prepare socially and economically disadvantaged job seekers for entry or re-entry into the workforce. She recently led a team that developed and implemented workforce preparation sessions for inner-city residents in the Washington, DC area for Howard University’s Center for Urban Progress.
Bell has received a B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh. She is accredited by the Society of Human Resources Management with a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification, and is an Arbitrator with the National Panel of Consumer Arbitrators. She is a member of several organizations including the Employee Management Association, the National Panel of Consumer Arbitrators and the National Association of Female Executives.
Michelle Bell is a noted speaker on various topics such as Human Resources Management and small business partnerships. She is currently working on a book that will provide guidance about interviewing dynamics and challenges for the fundamentally disadvantaged job seeker.

Reason for Requesting Makeover- Having recently transitioned from a home based business, 1 st Choice Staffing Agency is on a mission to put more formal structural procedures in place to fit the strategies of their company.
“We need to retool our marketing strategies”, said Bell who believes that their current marketing strategies aren’t as strong as she would like for them to.
